I have started teaching this year. One of the assignments
that I have given my design students is to create a character based paper toy.
They are limited to 2 A4 sheets of paper.
With the up coming release of Nick Falk and my new series ‘Billy is a
Dragon’. I thought it would be a fun challenge to create a promotional paper
toy, based on one of the characters from the book series.
Challenging myself a little further, I limited myself to 1
printable A4 sheet that has the character and instructions on it. After some
early experiments with Dragons and Werewolves, I decided to make the 1st
paper toy based on Billy’s family dog ‘Bertha’.
